You make my heart happy!!

Happy Flutterby Wednesday!! Today is the last Wednesday that we will be celebrating Danni's Birthday and our challenge for today was to use her birthstone color which is Sapphire. Now I had to look this up because diamonds and pearls are as far as I go with gems. So being Sapphire is a blue color I went with Not Quite Navy and Danni's favorite color pink for my card today.

My image is a new digi from Pink Cat Studio which I printed onto PTI cardstock and colored with my copics. I also added a little bling on the antennae with my spica pen and a little shine on the polka dots with Crystal Effects. My dp is all SU and my sentiment is from Paper Makeup Stamps Then I finished off my card with some Pink Pirouette ribbon and a few tiny twinkles in the flowers.

If you would like to play along this week, just create a card with Sapphire colors and upload to either PCP or SCS with keyword FBW or add it to Mr Linky on Dannis Blog. Also, when you get a chance check out the rest of the DT's creations for this week. Oh and before I forget, we are welcoming back Taylor and Kristie this week to the team so WELCOME BACK GIRLIES and our guest designer this week is Anna!! (she has an awesome blog so go and check her out too!!!)

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great one!!

Celebrate with Sunflowers!

Hi All!!! Lazy start to the day here in our house. It is cloudy and rainy outside so this is a true stay in comfy clothes kind of day. I made this card a few days ago and have not had a chance to photograph it.

I just love this layout that Crazy for Challenges used a few weeks ago. My dp is Cosmo Cricket Early Bird. My image from PTI Autumn Abundance was stamped onto PTI Cardstock and colored with my copics. I wanted to get a true coloring for these sunflowers so I googled images of sunflowers and tried to capture the the orange and yellow that the flower has. Then I cut my image out with my Label 9 nesties and mounted it onto circles. Then I simply finished my card off with sentiment in one corner and a knot ribbon in the other.

Thats it for me today. Off to see if some more coffee will get me going!! Have a good one!!

HUGS to you!

Lady Bird meets Mercy!!

Fabulous sketch this week from Mercy Kerin, and fabulous sentiment from Lady Bird Johnson that I purchased from Paper Makeup. I just love the sketch that Mercy gave this week. MTSC40. I just flipped it on its side to accommodate my sentiment. My papers are all Cosmo Cricket Something New and Something Old. Cardstock is Always Artichoke and So Saffron. Ribbon is So Saffron. Tiny twinkles were added as was the tiny crocheted flower. I also did some antiquing around all of the edges with my PTI Tea Dye and then I used my scissor to distress the edges a bit but you cant really see that in the picture. I think I was afraid to distress too much and ruin my work. I am a bit of a chicken when it comes to distressing. Hope you like this as much as I do.

So what are your plans for this gorgeous weekend? Me? Crafting!! I have some DT work to do and some fun challenges I want to play along with. The weather here is crisp so I will cook a hearty meal for my family again. I just love to cook in this kind of weather. Why is that??? It feels so homey to me!! Then on Monday I will fast on the Holiest Day in the Jewish Calendar...Yom Kippur....a day to repent for our sins....ME? SIN? Never!!!! Then we will be in Temple in the afternoon and break our fast with family in the evening.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great one and I will be back again later or tomorrow with more goodies.

HUGS to you!!!

Let's Do Lunch with Bella

Hi Everyone!! Hope your week went well. I am REALLY glad today is Friday!! We had soo many back to school obligations this week and so much homework that I feel like I have not been at my crafting desk in days and I am having alittle withdrawal. LOL. The card I made today is one that actually took me a few days to put together believe it or not because of my lack of time. It was made for this weeks Bella Challenge which of course I am too late to enter but wanted to share my card with you anyway. I used my much neglected "Content to be a bella" stamp. How perfect is she all thin and pretty floating on a daisy!! Can life get any better for her?? I started by stamping my image onto Choice Buttercream cardstock, stamping another time onto the dp for the petals and twice more, once on the bluish paper and once on the green for the shirt and pants. I colored the rest with my copics. My dp is from DCWV Nursery Boy Stack. I did alittle paper piercing around the scallop circle, added some Very Vanilla Ribbon, stamped my sentiment from PTI on the bottom and added a few tiny twinkles. In hindsight, I would have pierced alot more on this card as I feel it is alittle flat but I was so trying to get this done that I just did not see it until everything was put together. Oh Well!! Hope you enjoy it anyway.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you have lots of fun plans for the weekend. I will be back again sometime on Saturday or Sunday. Have a great one!!

So Happy We're Friends!!

Hi All and Happy Wednesday!! Wednesday here means Flutterby Day and I have a really cute card to share with you today. Our challenge this week was to use flowers with our Butterflies well if you have been visiting me this week you know that I am in love with these adorable digi images and this one is no exception AND she is carrying flowers so I thought how appropriate it would be.
I started by printing my image onto PTI Cardstock and coloring with my copics and glitter pen. The sketch I used today is from Crazy for Challenges a few weeks ago. I have no idea where this dp is from but my cardstock is Green Galore and Pretty in Pink. I used my Paisley Cuttlebug Folder and my swiss dots and circle and label 9 nesties. Did some sewing around the edge and of course had to add those butterflies with some glitter and bling. I hope you enjoy the card today. Come and join us today and make your own Flutterby card and enter into our drawing for a prize this week. Go check out the deets on the prize at Dannis Dreams and when you enter your card onto SCS or PCP use keyword FBW!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great one!!

I Know I Know it's crooked!!

Okay so everything about this card is crooked. Yes I know my image is on a slant. That I did on purpose but the picture of my card, well it's just crooked. So just do me a favor and tilt your head alittle to look at it today!! LOL

My card for today is made from another Digi image from Pure Innocence on etsy. I just think her drawings are darling and I have bought quite a few.

I printed my image onto PTI cardstock and colored with my copics. My dp is Cosmo Cricket and my cardstock is Kiwi Kiss and Not Quite Navy. I did some sewing on this card and I have to say that the sewing turned out pretty good this time around. I am very proud of myself that I am getting the hang of this. Then to finish off my card I added some Kiwi Kiss ribbon, and my sentiment which is from Hero Arts. Hope you all like this card!! I am heading back to the kitchen to finish my Lasagna. You know Fall is here when I make chili and lasagna!!

Have a fantastic day and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Bright and Cheery LPS Monday Challenge

Hey Everyone. Welcome to Monday!! Today I have an awesome challenge for you from Little Paper Shop and a chance to win a prize. As you can see, it is a color challenge. Gorgeous fun colors for you to work with. This weeks challenge is LPSC34 and when you upload your card to SCS or PCP use that keyword so that we can see your fabu creation!! And what can you win you ask??? One of Little Paper Shops newest releases called Jena Witch. One random winner will walk away with this sweet new Halloween set.

My card today is alittle odd. I used the colors from the challenge but for some reason I was stuck in Halloween mode so I used our new Boo set to make my card. I stamped one of the images from the set onto PTI cardstock with Rose Red Ink and then I colored the "potion" with my copics that coordinate with Summer Sun and Pumpkin Pie. I cut out the images with my 1 1/4" circle punch and adhered it to a 1 5/8" circle of  Rose Red and then adhered that to a scallop circle of Summer Sun. The rest is pretty self explanitory, spots and dots cuttlebug folder, rose red ribbon, Hero Arts flower colored with copics and dp is from SU.

I hope you have a chance to come and play along this week. I look forward to your incredible creations.
Here are the DT blog links for some inspiration!! And one last note it is Bonnies Birthday today so go over and give her some Bday love!!  BONNIE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope your day is fantastic.

Pure Innocence C4C3

Hello and Happy Sunday to you!! Hope you are enjoying your weekend. We are here at our house. We spent Friday night in Temple for the Jewish New Year and then we have been doing school projects, studying and of course crafting. The weather is once again gorgeous and crisp so I am putting up a pot of Chili in the crocpot today!! YUM and EASY!! If anyone wants an awesome recipe for croc pot chili just let me know and I will send it to you!!

So my card today if for a new sketch challenge that is out there on Saturdays called Crazy for Challenges. This is actually week 3 and I am finally having a chance to play along. It is C4C3. I used on my card a super sweet digi image called Pure Innocence which I found on etsy. I am so going back to buy a few more because look how precious this little girl is!! I printed her onto PTI cardstock, colored her with my copics and cut her out with my rectangle nesties. I know you cant see it in the picture but I added some bling with my glitter pen on the flowers and little hearts. My dp is from Cosmo Cricket and my colored cardstock is Not Quite Navy and Pretty in Pink. I attempted to do a good sewing job around the edges but as you can tell I still need a bit of practice!! LOL. I finished off my card with some white ribbon, a GORGEOUS crocheted flower from my friend Jodi's mom and some tiny twinkles. Oh and my sentiment is from Hero Arts and cut out with my oval punches.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Again if you want my recipe just contact me. Have a fantastic day!!!

SC246 You take the cake

Had a chance today to finish the card I made for this weeks SCS Sketch Challenge SC246.

I used a set that I just got from Taylored Expressions called Sweet Celebrations. Such a cute set for birthdays. I stamped my image onto PTI White and colored with my copics. My dp is MFT Spring Pack. Cardstock is green galore and yoyo yellow and I finished my card off with some simple yet very shimmery Tiny Twinkles. Oh and I used my spots and dots cuttlebug folder (I think that is what it is called).

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day and for all my Jewish friends celebrating the New Year, l'shana tova!!

MTSC39

Hi All!! Gorgeous day here on Long Island. The weather is crisp and sunny. Fall is definitely on its way.

For my card today I used a super cute Bella Image from the Huggabug line. I colored her with my copics and cut her out with my oval nesties. My layout today is Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge MTSC39. FUN!!! For my dp I used some Imaginese Twitterpatted Lady Bug Ball. My ribbon is from stash and so are my flowers and brads. Here's my truth about this card. Under those three very pretty flowers is a total mess. I could not figure out what I wanted to use in this area for the three circles on the sketch. I had big brads, little brads, circle punches...you name it I tried it but nothing went well with the polka dots in the paper. So I have a bunch of holes from my brads that I am hiding. Pretty good huh???

Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope your day is going well and I hope you will visit again soon!!

Sparkly FB Wednesday!!

Hey Everyone!! Today is a very special FB Wednesday. Our guest designers are Matthew and Annabelle. Dannis children. I just know they are going to create something spectacular!! Go and check out their adorable creations at Dannis Dreams.

Our challenge this week is to add sparkle and bling to your Butterfly or Fairy card. Well that is such a no brainer for me because I have been adding Taylors Tiny Twinkles to just about every card I make lately and for today I added some extra sparkle to my Butterflies with my spica pen. Which is really sparkly IRL.

For my layout this week I used Mercy's Challenge from last week and I used an adorable image from Little Paper Shop called Katie Cupcake. I paper pieced the entire cupcake and colored Katie in with my copics and then stamped her again and colored her again, cut her out and popped her up on the cupcake so it really looks like she is sitting there. My dp is really just scraps I had lying around and my ribbon is from Michaels. I cut my butterflies out with a MS punch.

Speaking of Little Paper Shop, you really need to head over there because the two adorable sets that I previewed for you this week is on sale for 10% off. Great deal on amazingly cute Halloween sets.

So come and play along with us today. Just upload your creation with sparkle and bling to SCS or PCP with keyword FBW. Cant wait to see what you come up with!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a fantastic day.

Today, our AMAZING DT Coordinator Jessica challenged the DT to make something trick or treaty just not a card. I went right the tutorials that I have in my binder and picked this little gift type bag as my project. You can also find it on SCS here. I thought this would be a good little bag to give my kids some treats in from me. The images I used are from the Boo set, my dp is American Crafts, for my handle I used my scalloped oval punch and for my border I used my new MS Loop Punch.

Thanks so much for popping by today. Hope you are having a great day.

It is getting alittle spooky around here!!!

Hi everyone and welcome to day two of previews for the new Little Paper Shop release. This set  is called Boo and it is made up of a bunch of fun interesting images. For today's card I actually used 5 images from the set to make this scene plus the sentiment. How cool is that??? You can create sooooo many different things all for the price of one stamp set!!! A MUST HAVE!!!

What I did was stamped my pumpkin first then masked it off to stamp the tombstone behind it. I added the "RIP" onto the stone and added the cute little bats in the background. Then I stamped Casper the Ghost (just my name for him!!!) four times onto white cardstock and cut them out and with dimensional tape propped them up. I colored with my copics and added some glitter with my spica pen to the bats. My dp is from American Crafts and all cardstock is SU.

So what do you think??? Spooky or what??? Do you want a chance to win this set??? We will give you two chances. Here's how:

TWO ways to win Boo. Leave a comment today and one random winner will be chosen and announced tomorrow on release day.

Play along in this week's challenge to create a HALLOWEEN card and one random winner will be chosen and announced next Monday, the 21st!

Just leave your comment on the LPS Blog for your first chance to win and then when you make your Halloween card just upload it to SCS or PCP with keyword LPSC33. Have fun and good luck!!! Here is the rest of the DT for you to see some more Spookies today!!!!

Happy Birthday Basket

Hi All!! Hope you have some wonderful plans for this weekend.I am doing some chilling today and then I have an outdoor craft fair tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be great so I am really looking forward to it.

Todays card was made with my new PTI stamp set called Vintage Picnic. I have been in love with this set since it came out and was so excited to finally purchase it.

I stamped my image onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored the flowers with my copics. Then I stamped again onto SU Parisianne Summer paper and paper pieced the basket and then stamped again onto burgandy cardstock and paper pieced the handles and top of basket. I just LOVE how this came out. I cut my image out with my labels 9 nesties which I am so loving. I then brushed some Tea Dye from PTI along the edge of the image. I did the same treatment for the sentitment too. My dp today is from SU Parisianne Summer which unfortunately is retired but I am still hording some. My ribbon is from Michaels, my little crocheted flower is from a vendor on etsy and my little hat pin is from Michaels also. Oh and of course what would a card of mine be lately without tiny twinkles from Taylored Expressions. I just love how this came out because I just love this stamp set and paper!!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I will be by all of your blogs today and make up for not being there the last few days. With school having started on Wednesday, I have been out of sinc with my schedule so I have not been blogging too much. But I WILL leave some love today to all of you!!! Have a great one!!

FBW Follow up

Okay, quick post today to put up the card I made for FBW yesterday.

Our challenge this week was to make our card with pink. Well I think pink and black are a sweet and romantic combo so I went with it. The stamp set I used is from Little Paper Shop called Butterflies. I embossed the gorgeous butterfly with black ep onto Pink Pirouette Paper and mounted it onto a Label 9 cutout of pink pirouette which I dry embossed with swiss dots. My dp is from Bella Rose. You cant really see it but the black panel is embossed with swiss dots also. I finished off with some pink pirouette ribbon and bunch of tiny twinkles and there you have it!!! Better late than never....I am having a tough week getting my online obligations together but rest assured I will be back on track for next week!!

Have a great one and thanks so much for coming by today.

Okay so as I am recuperating from a weekend of end of summer celebrations and getting ready for my kids to start school this week it hits me like a ton of bricks...I forgot to post the Monday Challenge for Little Paper Shop!!! Sooooo here is the Monday challenge on Tuesday from me!!

We have an awesome sketch challenge for all of you this week and I just know you are going to want to play along. You can find the sketch HERE at the Little Paper Shop Blog. Fun one right!!! I had a great time with it. I whipped out my Sugar stamp set and stamped it 5 times...On the red paper twice, polka dot paper once, mustard paper once and on my circle cut out with my nesties. I paper pieced the whole cupcake and then used the Paper Tole technique on the cherries. My GORGEOUS dp is Little Yellow Bicycle and I used Old Olive and More Mustard Cardstock. The little crocheted cherries I found at a shop on etsy. Super cute arent they!!

So I know you want to win some prizes right??? Just create your card using the sketch and upload to either SCS or PCP with keyword LPSC32.

Sorry again for the late post. I hope you forgive me......Have a great one and thanks so much for stopping by.

Taylors Sketch Challenge TESC80

Quick post as I just picked my kids up from their visit with my Aunt. I made this card today for Taylored Expressions. The sketch can be found here.

This card was made with "For the love of Cupcakes" from TE. I masked off the cupcake so that it would look like it is sitting on the table and then I paper pieced the whole thing anyway. My dp is Cosmo Cricket Early Bird. My cardstock is SU. I used my SU scallop border punch and MS swirl border punch. I did alot of piercing on this card which I do not normally do but it just seemed to need some texture.

I am off to take care of the MOUND of dirty laundry my kids brought home. Oh let the fun begin!!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Birthday Wishes Kerin Style

Hi Everyone! Quick post right now just to show you the card I made for Mercy Kerins Sketch Challenge this week which can be found HERE. So did I tell you that I found someone on ebay selling Cosmo Cricket paper at an amazing price?? Did I also tell you that I spent about $70 stocking up on Cosmo Cricket paper?? Well I did and I was able to buy this gorgeous paper ( among others) called Earthlove. So when I went to make this card, I was looking for something fun and fresh and this seemed to work perfectly!! (I hope you think so too). My little birthday hats are from a set from Sweet n Sassy called Owl Occasions. I stamped the hats three times onto Choice Buttercream, colored with my copics and cut them out with circle nesties. I added a few celery brads that I bought also on ebay from the Pink Hedgehog and finished my card off with some crystal stickles for some fun Bling!!!
I will be back alittle later to show you the cards I made for MOJO Monday and Taylored Expressions. Bye for now!

A Happy Birthday Flutterby Day!!

Hi All and welcome to Flutterby Wednesday over at Dannis Dreams. Today is the beginning of a HUGE month long celebration of Danni's 40th Birthday. We are going to have amazing guest designers, awesome challenges and BLOG CANDY!!! Who doesn't like blog candy!!!

Today's Challenge is to make a Birthday Card using a fairy or butterfly AND our guest designer is Christy Croll who designs those mega adorable Huggabugs for Stamping Bella so I decided to use this adorable birthday Huggabug for my image called Beeday Huggabug. She was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto PTI cardstock, colored with copics and cut out with my label 1 nesties. My dp is from MFT and it is their Spring Pack. All cardstock is SU. My sentiment was cut out with my oval punches. For some embellishing, I colored my ribbon to match my Regal Rose paper and added a super cute flower given to me by my friend Jodi and what would a card be without some tiny twinkles from Taylored Expressions which I added to the end of the antennae of the fairy.

So you dont want to be left out of the Blog Candy do you??? Didn't think so. Come and play along this week with our birthday challenge and post your card to SCS or PCP with keyword FBW, then go to Dannis Dreams and post your entry into Mr Linky.
